Lilienthal Berlin makes bags with the same approach as its watches: clean design, considered function, deliberate material choices. Not bags for every conceivable situation, but models that actually work in daily life – and look good while they're doing it.

Two lines, one idea

The range splits into two lines. Urbaneer is built for urban everyday life: recycled polyester, water-resistant, versatile to carry – bags and backpacks that move between work, leisure and everything in between without anyone noticing. Virtuoso is for a more elevated, reduced aesthetic: cactus leather, clean design, the essentials without excess.

Which line fits?

If you want a backpack that's technically thought-through, carries a good volume and is built for an active everyday life, Urbaneer is where you start. If you want something that works in the office as well as at dinner – and where the material is a conscious choice – Virtuoso is the answer.

What all models have in common

Across both lines, the same design thinking applies: nothing superfluous, clean shapes, materials that deliver on their promise. Laptop compartments, well-organised internal pockets and flexible carrying options aren't features added as an afterthought – they're part of the design from the start.

Sustainability without sacrifice

Both lines make a deliberate material choice. Recycled polyester for Urbaneer, cactus leather for Virtuoso – both more resource-efficient to produce than their conventional alternatives. You won't notice that while you're carrying them, except that they hold up.

Like all Lilienthal Berlin products, the bags and backpacks are designed in Berlin. If you know the watches, you'll recognise the handwriting: reduced, functional, no explanation needed.
