However, each material has its own strengths: Textile is more flexible and highly resistant to tearing, while scratches and minor surface wear are often less noticeable on fabric. Mesh combines flexibility with breathable strength. Leather and cork offer natural resilience and can maintain their durability with proper care.

Which strap material is the most comfortable for sensitive skin?

All our straps are designed with comfort in mind. Our Stainless Steel and Mesh straps are made from Stainless Steel 316L (Allergy-neutral) and are completely Nickel-free. For a softer touch, our Leather and Textile straps are lightweight, breathable, and paired with Nickel-free buckles.

Can I wear my stainless steel strap for running or during my daily workout?

Yes, a stainless steel strap can work well for daily workouts and running. 316L stainless steel is highly resistant to water and sweat, although prolonged exposure to sweat, saltwater or chlorine can affect the surface, so rinse and dry the strap after workouts. For longer runs, the weight may feel somewhat bulky, and wet links can pull wrist hair.

The watch itself also matters: quartz watches are generally suitable for running, while automatic watches are better protected from strong vibrations and shocks. For high-impact sports, we recommend removing the watch to protect the case and glass.

Is the stainless steel strap suitable for swimming in the pool or the ocean?

While the stainless steel strap itself is fully water-resistant and handles water well, we recommend avoiding swimming with 5 ATM or 10 ATM watches. Dynamic water pressure from swimming can force water past the watch case seals. Pool chlorine and ocean salt can also degrade gaskets if not rinsed immediately.

Can I wear my stainless steel strap in the sauna, or do heat and humidity affect it?

While 316L stainless steel itself is highly resistant to heat and humidity, the watch head can be affected by the extreme temperatures and rapid temperature changes in a sauna. Heat can put stress on the watch's seals and internal components and increase the risk of moisture entering the case. We therefore recommend taking your watch off before entering a sauna.

Yes, it is very simple to adjust at home using the included tool! We provide a handy pin-push tool right with your strap so you can easily customize the fit yourself without needing to visit a jeweler:

1. Locate the direction: Look at the underside of the strap links, where you will find small engraved arrows indicating the direction the pins need to be pushed out.
2. Align the tool: Place the strap into the included pin-push tool, aligning the tip of the tool's screw directly with the pin hole in line with the direction of the arrow.
3. Push out the pin: Gently turn the handle to push the metal pin out of the link, then pull it out the rest of the way with your fingers or pliers and remove your excess links.
4. Reconnect the bracelet: Bring the remaining links back together, reinsert the pin in the opposite direction of the arrow, and press or tap it gently until it sits flush and secures the bracelet firmly in place.

Are all the straps compatible with my watch?

Not all straps are universally compatible out-of-the-box, as compatibility depends on matching the correct width dimensions (such as 20mm or 22mm) to your watch case.
